I could hardly contain my excitement as Emily's 16th birthday arrived. She was growing up so fast yet still loved our special traditions. After school, I greeted her home with balloons and a homemade cake. Over slices, I sneaked photos of my beautiful girl. As twilight fell, we cuddled up to watch her favorite movie together. These quiet moments mean the world to me. When it was gift time, I handed Emily a small box. Looking at the delicate stud earrings inside, she was very happy and hugged me tight. My baby was now a young lady. We stayed up chatting late into the night, just like when she was little. But now, listening to her dreams and giving advice, I saw a bright future awaiting.
