I still can hardly believe it's been 50 years since Malcolm first won my heart with his sweet guitar playing under the summer moon.
I still can hardly believe it's been 50 years since Malcolm first won my heart with his sweet guitar playing under the summer moon. We experienced so much adventure in those years but ultimately decided to plant some roots. With Malcolm's skills in the kitchen and my hospitality, we opened up this cozy little diner. Through all the busy breakfast rushes and laughter over shared slices of pie, he's been my best partner. To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we invited all our "regulars" - really more like family at this point. The place was packed from wall to wall as we cut into a three-tiered cake. But the biggest surprise was Mal breaking out his ol' acoustic guitar once more. As soon as he started strumming our song, I was transported right back to the beginning, and he can still make my heart flutter to this very day! Dancing in my sweetheart's arms, I felt so blessed. Fifty years truly whip past when you've found your perfect partner. I'm forever grateful for the adventures we've shared and the life we've built together.
