Daisy and I just celebrated our diamond anniversary.
Daisy and I just celebrated our diamond anniversary. Ours wasn't the smoothest of roads - we faced challenges like the loss of our first home to fire in the 1980s and my battle with cancer a decade ago. Through it all, our love endured. While others may have given up, we found strength in each other. We've come to appreciate the small joys, like long walks in Holyrood Park watching the colors change. Retirement has allowed us to rediscover fun through volunteering at the local library. As I gazed at Daisy across our anniversary dinner, I was struck by her beauty both inside and out. She is my silver lining, and I am thankful for every second we have together. Our memories may fade with time, but my love for this remarkable woman will only grow deeper.
