Sixty years ago, I was a nervous young man waiting at the altar, counting down the moments until I would see Elizabeth walk through the doors of St. Andrew's Church. When she appeared in her beautiful white dress on her father's arm, all my nerves melted away. In that moment, I knew I would love this woman for the rest of my life. Now here we are, six decades later, still as in love as ever. We've raised two children, gone through good times and hard times together, but our love has endured. To celebrate our diamond anniversary, we're having a small gathering in our backyard with close family and friends. I can't wait to hold Elizabeth in my arms again as we share our first dance. After 60 years of marriage, she still takes my breath away. I feel lucky to have found my soulmate and best friend. Our love has lasted through the years thanks to trust, respect, and always putting each other first.
