As the owner of a small flower shop in Central London, I've always been passionate about bringing beauty and joy to others through floral arrangements. Four years ago tomorrow, I was putting the finishing touches on a massive bouquet for a wedding when my friend Emily popped in. She insisted I take a break to grab coffee with her. Over lattes, she told me about a guy she thought I'd hit it off with. His name was Daniel and like me, he had recently moved to London from a small town dreaming of big things. At first I didn't think much of it, but Em could be persuasive. She set us up on a blind date that weekend and from our first conversation at the pub, I was hooked. Dan had a kind spirit and a way of making me laugh like no one else. Now four years later, we're still madly in love and he even helps me out occasionally at the shop when business is booming. I know meeting that day was no coincidence. Dan continues to be my biggest cheerleader and helps me believe that with dedication, even a small town girl's dreams can come true in this big city.
