From a velvet pouch, I presented a custom necklace - a delicate gold chain with 3 charms, her initial, our son's birthstone ruby, and a heart to represent our perfect little family. Sabina tearfully placed it on. I held them both close. In that warm moment sharing hot cocoa under twinkling lights. Merry Christmases!
